Hansen Summer Institute applications are now available

To apply for the 2013 HSI program please visit our website and click on the Application page.

Once you've downloaded the application please read the following directions for additional information:

• If you are using an older version of Word (older than 2007) you must enable macros before you can begin. There will be a security warning at the top of the Word document that “some active content has been disabled” and you will need to click the options box and then select “Enable this content”.
• Once you download the application—treat the document as you would any Word document; you can fill in the blanks on your computer and then email the application back once it is complete.
• Forms 5 & 6 can be downloaded separately and emailed to your referees to be filled out and sent either back to you or directly to the Hansen Summer Institute. Please remember that these forms should be submitted with letters of recommendation that can be scanned & emailed, faxed or sent via regular mail.
• Before submitting the completed application, please remember to ‘Save as <Your Name>’.
• Form 7 must be printed, signed where appropriate, and then scaned to submit it via email, or it can be faxed to 619-849-8195 or sent via regular mail to the address on the application.
• Your application will not be reviewed by the selection committee until we have received The entire, completed application (Forms 1-7, as well as your letters of reference).
